Silverstrandis seeking experiencedSite Engineers & Project Engineersto become akey part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team.Local Brisbane Projects + DIDO and FIFO options.Base Salary + Super + Vehicle + Bonus + (Uplift if working away)About the roleReporting to the Project Manager.Self performed civil and structure worksEnsuring that the project works are completed safely and in compliance with Company and our client's procedures, engineering drawings/ specifications, budgets and timeframesPrepare, monitor and update plans and working to weekly and monthly programsProvide engineering and technical advice to the project teamAssist with Procurement of key subcontractors and suppliersEnsuring quality requirements are being metProgramming and planning of the worksCompiling 4 week lookaheads on labour, plant, scope, etcIdentify and work with site team to mitigate any risks to project deliveryCoordinate relevant subcontractor progress payment claims and communicate any variations or issues and provide resolutionsCoordinate approvals for any subcontract variations including notification of any delays or extension of time requiredWorking alongside Supervisor's to ensure best project delivery practicesEssential Skills and ExperienceCivil Engineering Degree or similar2-5 years' experienceas an engineer on civil infrastructure projectsAbility to read and understand civil, structural and services drawingsManage and raise technical queriesKnowledge of construction scheduling and sequencingUnderstanding of Quality Control SystemsExcellent safety record from previous projectsWhat's on offerCompetitive salary based on the successful candidate's experiencePaid Birthday Day offA permanent position with a growing civil construction companyCareer progressionSponsorship is available for the right candidateAbout UsSilverstrand is a privately owned company that provides high-quality civil engineering and construction services across Australia and Recent Zealand.
