Hewitt Consulting Engineers – North Sydney NSWAs an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, you will play a valued role within our engineering team, working closely with the Director and senior engineers on the delivery of a varied project portfolio.
This position is ideally suited to an engineer with 3–5+ years of experience who is looking to build on a strong technical foundation, take on greater responsibility, and grow both technically and commercially within a stable, supportive consultancy.Key responsibilitiesDesign mechanical HVAC systems in accordance with relevant codes and standardsPerform heat load calculations, equipment selection, and system schedulingContribute to and coordinate multidisciplinary project delivery, working alongside architects, contractors, and other consultantsSupport client relationships and communications under the guidance of senior staffConduct site inspections and surveysPrepare clear, accurate, and comprehensive technical documentation and specificationsProvide guidance and support to graduate and junior engineers as your experience developsAbout you3–5+ years of local experience in the construction industryExperience in consulting mechanical building services, multidisciplinary design coordination,
