About The RoleAngels Care is seeking a qualified Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team.
In this role, you will develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans for NDIS participants who have complex support needs, including those with a history of behaviours of concern.You will work within the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission's restrictive practices framework, ensuring all behaviour support plans are compliant, participant-focused, and designed to reduce and ultimately eliminate the use of restrictive practices.This is a meaningful, specialist role suited to a practitioner who is passionate about improving quality of life for people with disability.
Supervision, career development, and peer consultation are provided.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive functional behaviour assessments (FBAs) and analysis of behaviours of concernDevelop individualised, evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support plansEnsure behaviour support plans comply with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirementsOversee implementation of restrictive practices authorisation processes where applicableProvide training and coaching to support workers and families on PBS plan implementationMonitor outcomes, review plans regularly, and adjust strategies based on dataMaintain thorough clinical documentation and submit required reports to the NDIS CommissionCollaborate with allied health, support coordination,



and management teamsRequired Qualifications & ChecksRelevant tertiary qualification (Psychology, Social Work, Speech Pathology, OT, or related discipline)Endorsed as a Proficient or above Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (or actively working towards this)Current NDIS Worker Screening CheckNSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)Valid Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicleRight to work in AustraliaPreferred Skills & ExperienceProvisional or full registration with AHPRA (Psychology, OT, Speech) or AASW (Social Work)Experience writing behaviour support plans that include regulated restrictive practicesFormal training in Positive Behaviour Support frameworksExperience supporting participants with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, or acquired brain injuryAbout Angels CareAngels Care Pty Ltd (ABN **************) is a registered NDIS provider delivering compassionate, person-centred disability support across Western Sydney and New South Wales.
