Job DescriptionAs Corporate Operations Manager, you'll take the lead on delivering premium hospitality across our stadium suites, function spaces, and corporate lounges, planning and running everything from match days and concerts to non-event functions.
You'll be the driving force behind a professional, safety-first, high-performing team, and the go-to person for our corporate clients and sponsors, ensuring every experience reflects the quality GEMA is known for.This role suits a confident, composed leader who thrives under pressure, loves a fast pace, and takes real pride in getting the details right, from the guest experience to the bottom line.Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, motivate, and mentor front-of-house teams to deliver seamless corporate serviceBuild a team culture grounded in respect, communication, and continuous improvementProvide hands-on leadership during events, supporting supervisors with direction and decision-makingStaffing, Rostering & Workforce PlanningWork with staffing coordinators to ensure the right numbers, skills, and coverage across corporate zonesReview and approve rosters in line with event forecasts, labour budgets, and award complianceSupport onboarding and training so every team member is set up to succeedClient Relationship ManagementBe the primary point of contact for sponsors, VIP clients, and corporate partnersDeliver personalised service and respond proactively to feedback or service recovery needsBuild long-term relationships that drive client retention and repeat businessFinancial ManagementMonitor labour spend, cost-to-serve, and event profitability across corporate operationsSupport financial tracking, reconciliation, and reporting of revenue and expensesManage costs effectively without compromising on service qualityCompliance & StandardsEnsure hospitality services meet WHS, RSA, food safety, and stadium-specific requirementsUphold licensing and accreditation standards for staff and service areasPromote a safety-first culture, with proper documentation of incidents, hazards,

It's a venue where energy, atmosphere, and hospitality come together, and where our Corporate Manager will help set the standard for premium guest experiences.About the CandidateProven leadership experience in premium or high-volume hospitality, ideally within stadiums, arenas, or large event venuesSolid understanding of RSA, WHS, food safety, and labour budgetingHighly organised, with solid time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple events and deadlines at onceA confident communicator, able to build strong relationships with clients, venue stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teamsLocal industry knowledge and connections are a plus, though not essentialStrong working knowledge of Momentus or similar event management systems (such as iVvy)Ability to develop detailed event proposals, quotations, event orders, and room plans that give clear direction to clients and operational teamsFlexible and adaptable, events happen across all days of the week, including evenings and weekendsA sharp eye for detail, particularly around event presentation, room setup, food displays, and the overall guest experienceCommercially minded, with an ability to spot sales opportunities and contribute to revenue growthA calm, solutions-focused approach to last-minute changes or operational challengesExcellent administration skills, including record keeping, contract management, and event documentationFinancial awareness, including budgeting, cost control, and event profitabilityA collaborative mindset, working seamlessly across catering, operations, and venue management teamsA genuine customer-first mindset, committed to exceeding client expectationsExperience conducting venue inspections, client meetings, and post-event reviews to keep raising the bar
