We are seeking an outstanding and passionate English Teacher to join our high-performing English Faculty. This position may commence in Term 4, **** or Term 1, **** by mutual agreement.
The successful applicant will be an engaging and knowledgeable educator with experience teaching Advanced and/or Extension English and a demonstrated commitment to fostering academic excellence, intellectual curiosity and a love of literature.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
Inspire students to think critically, communicate effectively and engage deeply with literature and language.
Contribute positively to a collaborative and high-performing department culture.
Build strong relationships with students and support their academic and personal growth.
Participate fully in the academic, pastoral and co-curricular life of the College.
About You
You will:
Hold appropriate teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation.
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for English education.
Have experience teaching Advanced and/or Extension English courses.
Be committed to evidence-based teaching practice and continuous professional growth.
Be an educator who values relationships, collaboration and student wellbeing.
