GP2Oz is seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Practitioner to join an established team in the beautiful Whitsunday Region of Queensland.
This is a full‐time position, based in Proserpine, with the opportunity for working at the local hospital too.
You will provide high‐quality primary health care services to a diverse patient population.
You will work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and patient‐centered care.
This practice is fully equipped with modern facilities and technology to support your practice and provide the best possible care to their patients.Key responsibilities of this role include:Conducting consultations and assessments for a range of acute and chronic health conditionsProviding appropriate treatment and management plans for patientsEducating and empowering patients to take an active role in their health and well‐beingCollaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care for patientsMaintaining accurate and up‐to‐date patient recordsParticipating in quality improvement activities and clinical auditsAdhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.To be successful in this role, you will have:Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or the ability to gain thisExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA strong commitment to providing high‐quality, patient‐centered careThe ability to work effectively in a team environmentA positive and proactive attitude towards continuous learning and professional development.In return, you will work in a supportive and friendly work environment, and have the opportunity to make a real difference in the health and well‐being of the community.
