Other distribution depots are located in QLD, NSW, VIC and WA.Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this position involves actively performing all core warehouse duties, including walk in trade customer pick-ups, picking and packing, and assisting with incoming goods — while also supporting the Warehouse Manager in leading and coordinating a team of approximately 8 team members.Duties will include:Ensuring trade customers are served in a timely manner and to high customer service levelsPicking and packing of ordersEnsuring consistent productivity and efficiency of the team while achieving a high level of picking accuracyEnsuring outgoing goods are despatched in a timely & accurate mannerCo-coordinating and assisting in the receiving and putting away of incoming stockCo-ordinate rolling stock takes with a view to ensuring stock integrity and early identification of any deficiencies in picking/systems.Stand in for Warehouse Manager as requiredEnsuring warehouse and yard maintained in a clean mannerAssisting the warehouse manager developing a culture of continuous improvement and team buildingComplying with company policy and proceduresGeneral warehouse duties as workflow requiresUnloading of containersTo be successful in the role, you should possess the following skills:Experience in a warehouse lead role with sound knowledge of the workings of a distribution businessExcellent communication skills having regard to warehouse/office staff, customers and managementProblem solving skills with a can do attitudeShown ability to lead and motivate a teamStrong time management skills to enable execution of tasks for yourself and othersBasic computer skills i.e., email, excel, word, etcPossess a current forklift licenseCurrent MR license viewed favourably but not essentialWhy Join Glass OutletNational business with strong growth plansSupportive, values-driven cultureAdditional Paid day off for your BirthdayWork hours are 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, with warehouse opening at 7.30pm.An immediate start is available.You will be a detail-oriented individual with a high regard for accuracy and procedural compliance, taking pride in the importance of your role within the business.If you are ready for a current challenge in a supportive and successful company, this is the role for you.
