The RACV City Club is a social, leisure and business hub designed to cater for the needs of all members.About the OpportunityThe Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supporting the successful operation of the Housekeeping department.
This includes adherence to all processes, safety requirements, productivity targets, quality standards, standard operating procedures, cleaning methods and the health of the team.This could be just the right role for you?
The role is focused on ensuring that the daily requirements of the Housekeeping and Public Area teams are delivered to a consistently high standard and that the appropriate level of service to members, guests and visitors is maintained.
Key responsibilities will include:Supervise the Housekeepingand Public Area teams and resources in the most efficient and effective manner to meet daily plans, business objectives and customer requirementsProvide effective 'hands on' leadership to individuals through the creation of a safe, team orientated,
challenging and motivating work environment to deliver high quality member services that provide value and benefitOversee the day-to-day operations and direct the Housekeepingand Public Area teams to carry out the required daily dutiesAssist in the recruitment and selection of staff for the housekeeping departmentRespond to daily issues and changing demands in conjunction with the Housekeeping Leadership TeamWhat you'll need to be successfulAvailability across a 7-day rotating roster, and flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, evenings & public holidaysLeadership or management experience ina hotel/resort environmentExperience using MS Office SuiteExceptional verbal and written communication skillsPlan and prioritise tasks effectivelyExperience in staff recruitment, training, appraisal, counselling and development.Ability to lead by example, encourage teamwork and motivate a teamConfident decision making and conflict resolution skillsFull working rights in AustraliaWe are OfferingCompetitive Salary+ Penalties evenings, weekends & public holidaysDiscounts on RACV products & resortsParking onsite at a discounted rateMonthly employee reward and recognition programOngoing training and career developmentThe RACV differenceBe part of a team who cares.
