Job Description: Permanent Full Time | Part Time consideredMonday to Friday | Full-time employees receive a monthly ADOBased at St George's Hospital, KewSupport Allied Health clinicians to deliver care directly in patients' homesAbout the RoleAn exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and compassionate Allied Health Assistant to join the GEM@Home team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne.
GEM@Home provides hospital-level care to patients in their own homes, supporting them to achieve their best possible level of health, independence and function outside the traditional hospital setting.
Working under the supervision and delegation of GEM@Home Allied Health clinicians, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based and person-centred support to patients in their homes.
You will assist patients to work towards their individual goals and support their overall health, wellbeing and independence.
This is a varied role requiring excellent communication skills, the ability to work autonomously within your scope of practice and a compassionate approach to patient care.
In addition to direct patient support, you will assist with equipment management, resource preparation and administrative and operational activities that contribute to the effective day-to-day running of the GEM@Home service.Classification: Grade 2 Allied Health Assistant ($70,****** per annum, pro rata for part time).

The GEM@Home service operates seven days a week and brings together a multidisciplinary team including Geriatricians, Nursing, Allied Health, Pharmacy, Administration and additional specialist support as required.
