Working closely with the Finance Manager and wider finance team, your responsibilities will include:AP & AR processing and reconciliationsInvoice, expense and credit card processingFortnightly payment runs and payroll supportCustomer payments,



statements and debtorsSupplier and customer queriesBank reconciliationsIntercompany transactionsMonth‐end journals and balance sheet reconciliationsFixed asset register maintenanceP&L; support and reportingGeneral finance administrationAd hoc tasks and process improvementsWhat we're looking forWe're looking for someone with previous experience in a transactional finance or Assistant Accountant position who enjoys working across AP, AR and general ledger functions.You'll ideally bring:A good understanding of transactional finance and accounting terminologyPrevious experience across AP and/or ARIntermediate Microsoft Excel skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem‐solving abilitiesThe ability to prioritise and manage your own workloadThe ability to work calmly and accurately in a fast‐paced environmentThe role involves supporting New Zealand accounts, including payroll, as well as providing assistance across Australian accounts.The opportunityMascot location$75,000 - $85,000 + SuperMON - FRI - 38 hours per weekFlexible start timesIdeally office‐based 5 days per week, however there is some flexibility for the right personBirthday leaveBroad role with exposure across AP, AR, payroll and general ledger
