We care about our residents, their quality of life, dignity, independence, individual choices and personal journey – and we care about creating an environment where our staff feel supported to provide exceptional care.We are seeking an experienced Clinical Care Manager to provide clinical leadership and oversight across our Mater Christi residential aged care service.Reporting to the Residential Care Services Manager, the Clinical Care Manager is the senior clinical leader within the service and plays a key role in ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred and rights-based care.This is a hands‐on leadership role for someone who enjoys being visible and engaged with residents and staff, supporting our Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Cert IV and care teams while maintaining strong clinical governance and quality systems.What We Need from YouCurrent registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRASignificant post‐registration nursing experience,
including substantial experience within residential aged careDemonstrated senior clinical leadership or clinical management experienceStrong knowledge of contemporary aged care clinical practice and clinical governanceSound understanding of the Aged Care Act ****, Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant residential aged care regulatory requirementsExperience in clinical risk, incident management, quality improvement and audit processesStrong clinical assessment, critical thinking and escalation skillsDemonstrated ability to lead, coach, mentor and develop Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Cert IV and care staffExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, staff and health professionalsA genuine commitment to person‐centred care, resident choice, dignity and quality of lifeAbout the RoleThe Clinical Care Manager will:Provide visible clinical leadership and act as the senior clinical escalation point across Mater ChristiOversee clinical care quality, resident assessment, care planning and clinical risk managementSupport safe medication management, infection prevention and control, deterioration management, restrictive practices, dementia and behaviour support, and palliative and end‐of‐life careLead and support the clinical team, providing coaching, mentoring, supervision and professional developmentPromote protected delegation, appropriate scope of practice and clinical competency across the workforceMonitor clinical incidents, quality indicators,
