Our team is growing, highly capable and mission focused.About the roleWe're looking for an experienced Regulatory Lead to own the delivery of one of our assurance and certification work streams.
This is a project management role at its core: you'll own the schedule, the deliverables and the client relationship.
You'll also need enough technical grounding to read the work, contribute where helpful, and hold a credible conversation with the client's technical authorities without needing an engineer in the room every time.You'll act as the main point of contact for the client, manage their expectations on scope and timing, and elevate early where things are at risk.
You'll run review cycles with client subject matter experts, capture feedback, and drive agreed actions through to closure.
Beyond the day to day delivery, you'll represent the company in technical working groups and review panels, and help build the relationship into future work.This role is based in Sydney or Perth, with travel required as part of the client-facing nature of the work.Key responsibilitiesAct as the primary project point of contact for the client and their technical authoritiesOwn the delivery schedule, milestones and deliverable register for the work streamRun review cycles, capture feedback,
and drive dispositions through to closureMaintain change control and traceability across document revisions and agreed actionsReport status, risks, issues, and dependencies to internal leadership and the clientCoordinate internal technical contributors and hold the team to the delivery planReview deliverables for consistency, completeness, and alignment with client standardsDraft and revise technical content for remote and autonomous platformsIdentify unclear, contradictory or out of scope requirements and raise them as structured queriesTranslate between the client's technical authorities and the internal engineering teamRepresent the company in technical working groups and review panels, identifying follow-on workWhat you'll bringProven experience managing technical projects with external clients, ideally in a regulated or certification-driven environmentStrong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to manage scope and timing conversations directly with clientsEnough technical fluency to engage credibly with subject matter experts and identify gaps or issues in technical documentationExperience running structured review and disposition processesStrong written communication and document control skillsComfort working independently and holding a multidisciplinary team to a delivery planWillingness to travel as required for client engagementSecurity and eligibility requirementsThis role requires the successful candidate to hold, or be eligible to obtain, a Baseline security clearance, including a police check and open source checks.
Candidates should be Australian citizens or from an allied nation, and already able to live and work in Australia without sponsorship.
