as per our Group Core Values.About the RoleThis full-time position based in Hoppers Crossing in the Western suburbs, Victoria, will be working in a small yet active team and will report to the Workshop Supervisor.
The successful mechanic will be responsible for:The completion of all required and scheduled service and repair work on various machinery on siteDiesel engine fault diagnosis, repairs and reconditioningDiagnostics, troubleshooting and rectification of vehicle control systemReplacement or service/refurbishment of perishable/useful life or consumable machine componentsOn site repairs and servicingAttendance to service calls when requiredGreat!
What do I need to have to be successful?
Proficient mechanical knowledge and demonstrated auto-electrical, electrical and hydraulic skillsAt least two years' relevant employment experience servicing and maintaining heavy or light diesel productsDrivers licence rated MR or higherCommitment to maintain and adhere to safety guidelinesAbility to work autonomously whilst maintaining a company driven focusA solution-finding and continuous improvement approachA sense of urgency and punctuality in your work, backed by a solid work ethicA high customer service focusAbility to work in, and contribute to a small teamAbility to pass a Pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol assessment
