Job DescriptionGrade 3 Physiotherapist (Neuromuscular Clinical Trials)Excellent perks including salary packagingChallenging and rewarding work environmentFull time fixed term until 30 June ****Part time, 8 hours per week.About the RoleAn exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Grade 3 Physiotherapist to join the Clinical Neurosciences team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne, supporting the delivery of neuromuscular clinical trials.
Working within a multidisciplinary research environment, you will provide advanced physiotherapy assessments and contribute to high-quality participant care and internationally recognised clinical research.Provide advanced physiotherapy assessments for participants enrolled in neuromuscular clinical trialsPerform protocol-specific outcome measures in accordance with study protocols, Positive Clinical Practice (GCP) and organisational requirementsEnsure the safe, accurate and consistent delivery of physiotherapy assessments across clinical trialsWork closely with Principal Investigators, research coordinators, medical staff and allied health professionalsContribute to high-quality participant care throughout the clinical trial processSupport the delivery of internationally recognised clinical research within the Clinical Neurosciences teamWork collaboratively within a multidisciplinary research environment to ensure clinical trial requirements are metClassifications for this position will range from Physiotherapist Grade 3 VB7 - VC1 ($104,135 $118, 981per annum pro rata).
Your ContributionProvide advanced physiotherapy assessment and evidence-based clinical management for participants enrolled in neuromuscular clinical trials.Perform protocol-specific physiotherapy assessments and outcome measures in accordance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and organisational requirements.Maintain accurate clinical and research documentation, operate study-specific technology (including video capture and electronic data capture systems), and ensure clinical assessment equipment is maintained in accordance with study requirements.Work collaboratively with principal investigators, research coordinators, medical staff and the multidisciplinary team to support participant recruitment, secure trial delivery, and provide expert physiotherapy advice.Contribute to quality improvement, research activities, ongoing professional development, and the continued development and delivery of the Clinical Neurosciences Neuromuscular Clinical Trials Program.Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist, with extensive neuromuscular clinical experience, knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) (or the ability to rapidly acquire it), and excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain.What We OfferA focus on wellbeing initiatives, with regular events and programsConfidential, solutions-focused employee counsellingA healthy work/life balance encouraged.
