Cranbourne Central Medical Centre is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our dedicated healthcare team.
As Practice Manager, you will be the operational backbone of our medical centre, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting our clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
This role is vital to maintaining our centre's efficiency, financial health, and reputation within the community.What you'll be doingManaging the overall operations of the medical centre, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocationOverseeing patient reception and administrative functions to ensure a welcoming and efficient experienceManaging budgets, financial planning, and ensuring compliance with financial protocolsImplementing and maintaining practice policies and procedures that align with healthcare regulations and best practice standardsRecruiting, training, supervising and supporting administrative and reception staffLiaising with healthcare providers, allied health professionals, and external organisations to coordinate servicesManaging patient records, confidentiality, and compliance with privacy legislationEnsuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, workplace health and safety requirements, and medical centre accreditation standardsAddressing patient and staff concerns professionally and promptlyImplementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfactionWhat we're looking forProven experience working as a Practice Manager or in a senior administrative role within a medical practice or healthcare settingWorking knowledge of Best Practice software.Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectivelySound financial management experience, including budgeting, invoicing,
