We are committed to innovation, quality, and creating protected, sustainable workplaces for our people.About The Role:Reporting to the Operational Excellence Manager, this role provides critical technical support across our production and assembly operations.You will play a key role in:Supporting tooling and die casting performanceContributing to continuous improvement and automation initiativesKey Responsibilities:Maintain, repair, and overhaul dies castingInspect tooling for wear, defects, and performance issuesPerform machining, polishing, fitting, and modification workSupport die life management and tooling optimisationProduction & Maintenance SupportProvide day-to-day technical support to production teamsDiagnose and repair machinery breakdownsPerform preventative and corrective maintenanceMinimise downtime and maintain production targetsTooling,



Jigs & FixturesManufacture, modify, and maintain tooling and production aidsSupport new product introduction and assembly setupsImprove workholding and tooling methodsIdentify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and productivitySupport automation initiatives and process improvementsWork with engineering on equipment upgrades and modificationsWorkshop SupportOperate workshop machinery safely and effectivelyRead and interpret technical drawings and specificationsMaintain tools, equipment, and spare partsAbout You:Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong mechanical troubleshooting and fabrication skillsExperience with tooling, dies, or casting equipment (highly regarded)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance reportsProactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and in a teamWhy Join ALG?
