This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced industrial environments and enjoys troubleshooting and improving high-speed automated equipment.This Role Would Suit Someone WithAn experienced Industrial Electrician with PLC and automation skills who is mechanically capableA qualified Electrician with industrial and automation experienceBackground working in FMCG environments, ideally with high-speed packaging or processing equipmentKey Skills & ExperienceElectrical & AutomationUnrestricted Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence)Strong electrical fault-finding capability, including contactors, relays, sensors, and field devicesExperience programming and configuring:VFDs / drivesScannersElectronic control modulesProven ability to troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systemsSolid understanding of industrial controls (PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, instrumentation)Mechanical & MaintenanceDiagnose, troubleshoot,



and repair both electrical and mechanical faultsPerform preventative maintenance and equipment auditsHands-on mechanical skills, including:Lubrication programsBelt trackingReplacing bearings, chains, belts, motors, and gearboxesExperience maintaining mechanical and pneumatic systemsContinuous Improvement & ReliabilityProactively work to reduce downtime, waste, and improve equipment reliabilityIdentify improvement opportunities through:Fault investigationRoot cause analysisSupport and participate in maintenance and improvement projectsDemonstrated problem-solving experience within an industrial maintenance environmentPersonal AttributesStrong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfactionSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamProactive approach to maintenance challengesContinuous Improvement mindsetHighly Regarded (but Not Essential)Experience using computerised maintenance management systemsSound Microsoft Office skillsWhy Join Us?
