This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.Purpose of the Role:To process the Warehouse Accounting and financial office flows (codification of PRs, Store Entries, Store Issues, Reports) of the Snowy 2.0 Project warehouse.Qualifications:Degree in Accounting (CA and/or CPA is not a requirement) or related field (eg Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor in commerce, Bachelor of Science Business Admnistration)White CardExperience:Minimum 5 years' experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role - preferredMinimum 3 years of experience working in a similar role in major civil infrastructure projects of comparable size and complexity to the projectExperience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects worksPreferred experience in contractor construction industry (infrastructure).

whilst also being able to prioritiseExceptional attention to detailSalary banding between $87,000 - $96,000Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:Preparation of Purchase Requests by assigning the appropriate sap code and cost code for the correct budget allocation and the proper allocation of the costsPreparation of Delivery orders by assigning the proper sap code and cost code in order to address the costs in the proper way according to the budget and for budget monitoring purposesAssist the procurement team in identifying potential suppliers for inventory itemsPreparation of material goods receipts to ensure accurate coding of material classes for a correct allocation of the goods commodity value in the warehouse accounting balanceControl, process and monitor the issuance of materials to various sites by assigning the appropriate cost code for the correct allocation of the cost in the warehouse accounting balance according to the budget and for budget monitoring purposesCoordination of store inventory and communication to relevant project personnelReconciliation of physical inventory to accounting records to align the warehouse accounting statement for the project accounting closing balanceAccounts Payable as required, including invoice checking and verificationDaily transaction posting and bookkeeping through SAPGeneral Ledger reconciliationCreation and management of fixed asset register in SAPPreparation of warehouse management reportsPreparation of management and financial accounting reports, related to the monthly closing of the warehouse accounting statementMaintain filing and record keeping of all material safety data sheetsFiling and internal audit complianceThe above listed authorities & responsibilities are only a guide and may change as directed by your Manager/Supervisor or as per the requirements of FGJV Management.
