Job DescriptionThis organisation is seeking a Social Worker to join its multidisciplinary team, providing client-centred social work services to individuals, families and communities.The role focuses on enhancing social and emotional wellbeing through assessment, advocacy, case management and therapeutic interventions.
Working within a trauma-informed and culturally safe framework, the Social Worker will collaborate closely with internal programs and external stakeholders to address the social determinants of health and support holistic care outcomes for clients.Key responsibilities include:Providing evidence-based and culturally appropriate social work services that support the social, emotional and practical wellbeing of clients and familiesAdvocating for improved access to health, housing, education, legal and community servicesStrengthening client capacity, resilience and self-determination through supportive, respectful and collaborative practiceAbout the EmployerAbout Mount Isa:Mount Isa is the largest city in North-West Queensland and serves as the economic, transport and community hub for the region.
