How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space:Work with key stakeholders to manage the overall performance of all program related effortsManage schedule, budget and technical outcomes throughout the entire program development lifecycleManage and continually evaluate costsCommunicate program goals internally and ensure appropriate allocation of resourcesMonitor the progress of internal and external activities to ensure timelines are metLead regular review meetings with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate and communicate progress and issuesPrepare, coordinate,



and chair presentations and design reviewsActively consult with relevant people and departments to ensure program activities are achieved and issues are resolved quicklyProvide comprehensive reporting as required by the Chief Executive OfficerWork with the Human Resource Department in the recruitment and training of employees.Provide strong leadership, motivation, support, and direction in the day to day running of employees reporting directly and indirectly to this position, ensuring the department is managed effectively by setting transparent targets / KPI's and monitoring these in line with expectationsManage performance of the team, ensuring that any shortfalls in performance are managed and reportedComplete Performance Appraisals in line with Gilmour Space policy and proceduresEnsure that the team receive adequate training and development necessary to meet the needs of the businessOther duties as requested by ManagementMinimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience5+ years of experience in program delivery or other similar projectsDemonstration of strong leadership skillsHands on experience managing schedulesWell-developed negotiation,



problem solving and conflict resolution skillsDesired Qualifications, Skills and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in engineering or related fields preferredDemonstrated ability to work under pressure and deliver reliable and expeditious results across multiple prioritiesDemonstrates personal responsibility and accountability for actions and decisionsSelf-motivated and results oriented with a high level of attention to detailExperience in strategy, development, and execution of plans/projectsStrong interpersonal communications skills with internal and external entitiesWorking experience of ERP systems (SAP, Fishbowl, other)Previous management or program leadership experiencePositive, "can-do" attitude and ability to work in a very high paced and dynamic environmentAbility to handle pressure and cope with sudden surges in work volumeStrong analytical, verbal, and written skillsGood understanding and working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation/requirementsDemonstrated commitment to health and safety, quality assurance, continuous improvement, and environmental managementNV1 Security Clearance eligible preferredAdvance level in Microsoft Office applicationsGilmour Space Technologies is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
