Registered Nurse / Enrolled Nurse for Ophthalmology PracticeWe are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our friendly and professional ophthalmology practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated nurse who enjoys providing high-quality patient care and would like to develop or further their experience in ophthalmology.About the Role:The successful applicant will be involved in:Providing skilled and compassionate patient careAssisting ophthalmologists during consultations and proceduresAssisting with intravitreal anti-VEGF injections and minor surgical proceduresPreparing patients for ophthalmic procedures and treatmentsAdministering medications and eye dropsBlood collection (venepuncture)



and other basic clinical proceduresMaintaining accurate clinical documentationAssisting with clinical room preparation and infection controlProviding patient education and supportWorking collaboratively with ophthalmologists and the wider practice teamAbout you:We are looking for someone who is:Currently registered with AHPRA as an RN or ENProfessional, caring and patient-focusedWell organised and able to work effectively in a busy clinical environmentA good communicator with excellent interpersonal skillsReliable, motivated and able to work as part of a teamPrevious ophthalmology experience is advantageous, although training may be provided to the right candidateExperience with venepuncture/blood collection is advantageous, although training may be provided to the right candidateIf you are passionate about patient care and would like to join our ophthalmology team, we would love to hear from you.
