We're a small, hands-on team, which means the person in this role gets real ownership of the numbers and the stock rather than one narrow slice of it.The roleWe're looking for a casual Bookkeeper / Inventory & Wholesale Co-ordinator to keep our books accurate, our stock counts honest and our wholesale orders moving out the door on time.This is a genuinely blended role.What you'll be doingBookkeeping (Xero)Day-to-day bookkeeping in Xero accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliationsRaising and issuing wholesale invoices, and following up outstanding paymentsReconciling Shopify payouts and other payment channels against XeroSupporting month-end close and getting clean records to our accountantAssisting with BAS/GST preparationInventoryMaintaining accurate stock levels across Shopify and our warehouseReceipting inbound stock, investigating and correcting variancesRunning and reconciling stocktakes and cycle countsFlagging low stock,



slow movers and discrepancies before they become problemsWholesale co-ordinationProcessing wholesale orders end to end - order entry, allocation, picking priorities, dispatchBeing the point of contact for wholesale stockists on orders, stock availability and delivery timingPreparing the paperwork that goes with wholesale shipmentsKeeping wholesale pricing, terms and customer records up to dateWhat we're looking forEssentialDemonstrated bookkeeping experience, with hands-on Xero experienceExperience with inventory / stock management in a product-based businessWorking knowledge of Shopify, particularly orders and inventoryStrong attention to detail - you notice when a number doesn't look right and you chase it downConfident communicating with suppliers, stockists and internal teamReliable, self-directed, and comfortable in a small business where priorities shiftNice to haveExperience in retail, e-commerce, fashion or homewaresExposure to wholesale or B2B orderingExperience with a 3PL or warehouse operationCert IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting, or equivalent experience
