We are seeking a Qualified Cabinet Maker to join a busy main factory and warehouse in Alexandria.
This is a 6-month contract with a strong view to permanent employment for the right person.
You will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling quality cabinetry and joinery while working as part of an experienced production team.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacture and assemble cabinets and joinery to specificationsRead and interpret technical drawings and plansMeasure, cut and prepare timber, MDF, laminate and other materialsOperate woodworking machinery, power tools and hand toolsAssemble cabinetry, doors, panels, shelving and componentsInstall hinges, handles,



runners and other hardwareComplete quality checks throughout the manufacturing processIdentify and rectify defects or production issuesMaintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detailPrepare completed cabinetry for dispatchMaintain a clean and organised factory environmentFollow all workplace health and safety proceduresWork collaboratively with the wider production teamMeet production deadlines without compromising qualityAssist with general factory and warehouse duties as required
About You
Qualified Cabinet Maker with a recognised trade qualificationProven experience in cabinet making and joineryStrong knowledge of cabinet construction and assemblyConfident operating woodworking machinery and power toolsAble to accurately read drawings and take measurementsHigh attention to detail and commitment to qualityReliable, punctual and safety consciousStrong communication and teamwork skillsAble to work independently and meet production deadlinesComfortable working in a busy factory environment
