OnSite Recruitment is seeking a Trade Counter Sales representative to join their Client based in Dandenong South.
This is a casual position, Monday to Friday 7am-3pm.
You will be the face of their trade counter, providing expert product knowledge and support to trade professionals and customers who rely on them for quality products and advice.
This role is essential to maintaining customer satisfaction and driving sales within their retail operations.Key responsibilitiesGreet customers with professionalism and enthusiasm, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at the trade counterProcess sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systemsProvide expert product knowledge and recommendations to customers based on their specific requirementsAssist customers in locating products and navigating the trade counter offeringsHandle customer inquiries and resolve concerns promptly and professionallyMaintain a clean,



organised and well-stocked trade counter environmentSupport stock management activities and assist with inventory checks as requiredBuild positive relationships with regular customers to encourage repeat businessMeet daily sales targets and contribute to overall team performanceAdhere to health and safety protocols and company policies at all timesWhat we're looking forPrevious experience in a retail or trade counter workplace is highly desirableExcellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for helping customersStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable, punctual and professional approach to workProficiency with electronic point-of-sale systemsBasic numeracy skills for handling transactions and stock countsPhysical capability to lift and handle products safelyFlexibility to work casual hours as required by business needsA willingness to learn about products and industry standardsA Current Forklift Licence Highly Advantageous
