We are seeking a reliable, organised and motivated Storeperson to join our team and play a key role in supporting our workshop and site operations.About the RoleThis is more than just a stores position.
You will be responsible for managing our workshop stores while coordinating vehicle servicing, site compliance, breakdown repairs and equipment maintenance.
This role is critical in ensuring our workshop and field crews have the right parts, equipment and compliant vehicles available to deliver work safely and efficiently.The successful applicant will take ownership of the stores function and work closely with supervisors, tradespeople and suppliers to keep operations running smoothly.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate servicing, repairs and site compliance for company vehicles and equipmentReceive, inspect and receipt incoming goodsPick, issue and distribute parts, consumables and materialsMaintain accurate inventory and stock recordsRaise purchase orders and assist with procurement of stock and workshop requirementsMonitor stock levels and reorder materials as requiredOrganise and maintain stores, laydown areas and workshop consumablesLiaise with suppliers,



freight companies and workshop personnelCoordinate calibration, inspections and certification of workshop equipmentAssist with stocktakes and inventory auditsMaintain a safe, clean and organised work environmentAbout YouPrevious experience in a stores or warehouse role, preferably within mining, heavy industry or mechanical maintenanceStrong organisational skills with excellent attention to detailMechanically minded with an understanding of workshop operationsAbility to prioritise tasks and work autonomouslyGood communication and teamwork skillsCompetent computer skills, including Outlook and Excel (experience with purchasing or inventory systems is an advantage)Current Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)Current Driver Licence (HR Licence or willingness to obtain)Strong commitment to safety, housekeeping and continuous improvementWhat We OfferCompetitive remuneration based on experienceMonday to Friday role with opportunities for overtimeSupportive team workplace within a growing local businessOpportunity to develop your career and take ownership of the stores functionDiverse work supporting mining, fabrication and maintenance projects across Central QueenslandIf you're someone who enjoys being organised, takes pride in keeping a workshop running efficiently and wants to be part of a hardworking local team, we'd love to hear from you.
