An exciting opportunity exists for a casual position in a busy specialist clinic.Currently offering- Medical Receptionist, 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday).
Must possess flexibility with working hours and be able to cover holidays and sick relief.Located within the Mater Private Hospital Gold Coast.
Onsite parking included.Duties Included but not limited to;Greeting and welcoming patients in a professional and courteous mannerGeneral medical reception duties including data entry and recalls as well as handling correspondence via medical objects, email, scanning, faxing etc.Scheduling appointments, procedures and managing the clinic's calendar effectivelyHandling patient inquiries and providing information about appointments and proceduresMaintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and filesAssisting with administrative tasks such as invoicing, billing,



and inventory managementProviding a high level of customer service and ensuring a positive patient experienceWhat we're looking forPrevious experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service roleStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, clinicians, and other healthcare professionalsExcellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detailEnjoys working both independently and within a teamExperience with Genie or Gentu would be highly regardedPrior knowledge of Medicare & Health Fund billing & quoting would be highly regardedA friendly, skilled, and empathetic demeanourA commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacyAt Coast Gastroenterology, we value our employees and strive to create a positive and supportive work environment.
