DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:To be a member of a team of Leisure Assistants reporting to the Duty Manager, ensuring the smooth day to day operation of Perth Leisure Pool.Operational DutiesKey TasksYou will be responsible for creating and maintaining the desired image of Perth Leisure Pool through a welcoming, friendly approach to all customersTo be a member of a team trained in accident prevention, aquatic rescue and first aidTo ensure the safety of customers through encouraging protected recreation and activityTo carry out rescues and to administer remedial treatment as may be defined in the Normal Operating Procedure and Emergency Action PlanTo maintain a high standard of cleanliness both within and outside the pool at all times.
This will include public toilets, shower areas, main concourse, cafeteria, bar,



staff areas and outdoorsTo assist with the setting out and clearing away of equipment and furnitureOther TasksKey TasksTo assist with the teaching of lessons and classes as requiredHealth and SafetyKey TasksTo comply with the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act **** and all supplementary legislationTrainingKey TasksTo attend regular staff training sessions, be they held in in-house or externallyTo maintain the standard required for the current RLSS National Pool Lifeguard QualificationGeneralKey TasksTo undertake other related duties as may be required by the CompanyMaintain confidentiality and observe data protection guidelinesTo carry out other reasonable duties as may be required
