Pay Rate: $***** per hour plus penalty ratesRotating Shifts: 7am – 4:30pmHours: ****** hours per weekOur Gold Coast Luxury Pet Resorts requires an exceptional team member to join our growing team.We are a small, family run business just outside of Nerang, which offers a luxury service for dogs and cats.
This is a casual position that includes working weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
We are a 7 day a week business, so all staff must be flexible with shifts.Your role would include (but is not limited to):Meeting and greeting our guests and their ownersAnswering phones and emails to provide information to current and future customersAdministration duties, data entry and filingProviding feedback to clients regarding their pets' experienceDaily feeding (including special diets) and medicating of dogs and catsHealth checks and maintaining animal recordsHydro bathing, basic grooming and various physical activities with guestsShowing people through our resort for inspectionsCollecting and delivering our guests using our chauffer serviceCleaning guests' accommodation to a high standardTo apply, you will need to:Genuinely enjoy working with cats and dogs (paid experience essential)Have a valuable knowledge of dog and cat breedsBe confident and competent in handling dogs and catsBe computer literate,



including Word and OutlookBe experienced and proficient in reception and administration dutiesBe organised, efficient, accurate and have a particular eye for detailPossess a very high standard of customer service skills and a friendly phone mannerBe able to work autonomously and multi task in a sometimes-pressured environmentBe available weekends, public holidays, and all school holidays as well as during the week.Have a current Open Driver's License and own a vehicleBe available to work every weekend.
Only people with full weekend availability will be considered.Working Conditions (VERY IMPORTANT!)This is a high animal contact position.
This job is intense and physically demanding.
Work is performed in a pet resort setting indoors and outdoors.
Standing on feet for 7 or more hours a day.
