Glenview Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Workers - Community to join our team in Wangaratta, VIC.This is an Expression of Interest for part-time positions that plays a vital role in supporting vulnerable members of our community by providing essential in-home care services.
As a Health Care Worker, you will be at the heart of our mission to help individuals maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life whilst remaining in their own homes.
This role is fundamental to delivering personalised, person-centred care that makes a real difference to the lives of our clients.Key responsibilitiesAssist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming and dressing.Support clients with meal preparation, taking into account dietary requirements and preferencesUndertake housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry and tidying to maintain a safe and comfortable living environmentProvide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting social engagement and wellbeingAssist with mobility and transferring, using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipmentMonitor clients' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes or concerns to the line managerMaintain accurate and detailed care records and documentationCommunicate effectively with clients, their families and the broader care teamFollow all health, safety and infection control protocols to ensure client and personal safetyRespect client privacy, confidentiality and dignity at all timesWhat we're looking forA genuine passion for supporting vulnerable and elderly individuals with compassion and respectPrevious experience in aged care, disability support or community services.A current National Police CheckCurrent First Aid and CPR certification,
