This will be a great opportunity to work within a strong team.Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will be working alongside a team of chefs, cooks & Kitchen Hands to deliver the kitchen's operations on all menus across our venues including Lachlan's Restaurant and Events & Catering.Duties include:Assisting other chefs when required for the smooth operation of the kitchen through cleaning, storing, receiving deliveries.Safety and cleanliness of kitchen equipment and surroundingsQuality and Consistent Food storage and cleaningGoods receiving and storing food in temperature-controlled facilitiesDay-to-dayclean kitchens and food preparation areasclean cooking and general utensils used in kitchens and restaurants such as cutlery or disheswash, peel and chop vegetables or fruittransfer, weigh and check supplies and equipmentprepare ingredients for cooking, and prepare salads, savouries and sandwichesset up food and beverage trays for serving to customerscook, toast and heat food items as needAbout UsLakeside Hotel and Conference Centre is an award-winning venue situated on the picturesque grounds of Macquarie University at North Ryde.The hotel offers A la carte restaurant,
