Care Crusaders prides itself on exceptional workplace values and high standards of care delivery.We are currently looking for creative and outgoing support workers to engage and motivate our participants to achieve their goals.Looking for support workers with experience or an interest in providing complex supports including but not limited to; mealtime management (dysphagia), complex bowels and behaviour support.Looking for support workers to commit to regular and consistent shift schedules.Support individuals with intellectual, mental health and/or physical disabilities.Must be creative and resourceful to assist customers achieve their goals.Passionate, empathetic & committed to provide the best care to each individualDelivering high quality person centred supportDaily living assistance in the home and communitySupport physical health and emotional well-beingAssisting individuals to and from community-based activities and appointments.Complete all relevant documentation and reporting as requiredSkills and Experience:6+ months paid work in a similar role - experience with complex support desirableOutstanding interpersonal,



communication and resilience skillsAdaptability to work with different individuals including challenging behaviours.Cert III in Disability or community servicesMandatory Requirements:Current "Paid" Blue and Yellow CardCurrent First Aid and CPR Statement of AttainmentEvidence of work rights (e.g. Passport or Birth Certificate)Unrestricted Driver LicenceSmartphone (iOS or Android)Own reliable transport (willing to use for work)Recent BlueCard ChangesIt is now a requirement to hold your BlueCard prior to commencing work with Young People.
If you do not currently hold a BlueCard, or your BlueCard is due to expire within 3 months, it will be essential to apply for a BlueCard early in the Recruitment Process.
