We're committed to ensuring that no one is left behind, offering flexible financing options to help low-income individuals access the care their pets need.About the roleBased in our North Melbourne Animal Hospital, as an ACA you will be working with a team of veterinarians and nurses to ensure high standards of patient care and cleanliness are maintained.
Your days will be varied but some of your regular duties will include:Animal husbandry including hygiene and cleaning, feeding, grooming and enrichmentDaily walks for patients in our careAssisting with animal handling during veterinary examinations and proceduresRestocking bedding, towels and medical supplies, preparing wards for incoming animalsPatient record keeping,
reporting and daily checksAbout YouYou're someone who consistently shows up with a positive attitude because you love working with animals.
You're committed to delivering reliable and timely patient and customer care.
You are confident and have experience handling sick or injured patients.
You roll up your sleeves to support the team, and able use your own judgement to monitor the wellbeing and welfare of the animals in your care.
