The Opportunity
As a Building Surveyor Cadet, you will:
Undertake structured workplace learning alongside your studies.
Assist with the assessment of Development Applications and Construction Certificates
Learn and apply relevant planning and building legislation, including the National Construction Code and Australian Standards
Support Council's certification and compliance functions
Participate in site inspections alongside qualified Building Surveyors
Assist with fire safety assessment and inspection activities across a range of building classes
Support assessments under Section 68 approvals and related local government activities
Respond to customer enquiries and contribute to quality customer service outcomes
Your time will be split between office-based work and supervised field activities
