Veterinary Nurse / Veterinary ReceptionistAlbion Park & Gerringong Veterinary Hospital are seeking a friendly, motivated Veterinary Nurse / Veterinary Receptionist to join our supportive team on a full-time basis.
This role offers a balanced mix of 50% Veterinary Nursing and 50% Veterinary Reception, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on patient care and building relationships with clients.
The successful applicant will also assist with our Puppy Preschool program during busy periods, with full training provided.Key responsibilitiesProvide nursing support to Veterinarians during consultations, procedures, and surgeries.Assist with animal handling, patient care, and monitoring.Maintain clinical records and ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment.Welcome clients, answer phone and email enquiries, and schedule appointments.Manage patient admissions, discharges,



and billing transactions.Deliver exceptional customer service and compassionate support to pet owners.Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to ensure efficient daily operations.Teach a 4-week puppy preschool program during high volume seasons (training provided)About youHave a valid Australian Certificate IV in Veterinary NursingThe ability to work 1 in 4 Saturdays (8am-4pm shift)A genuine passion for animal welfare and client careFlexibility and willingness to learn new skillsAbout usAlbion Park & Gerringong Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, family-owned practice committed to enhancing the lives of animals and pet owners, one patient at a time.
