Our residential service is located in the heart of the Sunshine Coast, which is ideally located within walking distance of restaurants and boutiques along Duporth Avenue, the Sunshine Plaza shopping centre, the Maroochy RSL, Maroochydore Rotary Park, and the Maroochy River.
Our 130-bed facility is a modern, lifestyle-oriented aged care service located in a master-planned community precinct on Queensland's famed Sunshine Coast.In this role you will bring your strong cooking skills and passion for y our profession to create our residents a fine dining experience that is second to none!
Delivering multi courses, elegant dishes and planning a variety of menus this is your prospect to show your creative flair whilst working alongside a highly exp erienced team in a dynamic setting which is redefi ning the expectations of aged care.Things that work for us:Trade qualification in Commercial cooking (preferred), current Food Handler CertificateProven experience with volume cooking such as hotels, healthcare and/or similar environmentsE xcellent knowledge related to all facets of Food Services which includes but not limited to chill production and planning dining serviceAbility to lead day-to-day production with the assistance of the kitchenhands and accept responsibility for the smooth running of the kitchenUnderstanding of and compliance with food safety hygiene standardsHigh level of customer service skillsStrong attention to detail and excellent communication skillsAbility to follow directives as per care planUnderstanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilitiesVaccinated (and up-to-date vaccinations) against Influenza and Covid-19Current or willing to apply for a NDIS Worker Screening CheckThings that work for you:Competitive salary packaging options up to $15,990, Novated leasing,
