Our workplace is built on trust, respect, teamwork and a genuine sense of belonging.About the RoleWe are looking for a Technical Officer to join our Broadacre team and support the delivery of field trials in Western Victoria.This hands‐on role covers each stage of the trial process, from site preparation and sowing through to crop monitoring, data collection and harvest.
Working closely with our Horsham based Research team, you will help ensure trials are completed safely, accurately and in line with trial protocols and AgXtra's Standard Operating Procedures.The role would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work and wants to develop a career in agricultural research.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with trial site preparation, establishment, maintenance and harvestSupport sowing,



spraying and harvesting activitiesCollect and accurately record trial dataMonitor crop health and report issues affecting trial outcomesOperate and maintain agricultural machinery and equipmentFollow trial protocols, Standard Operating Procedures and safety requirementsMaintain accurate records and support the integrity of trial dataKeep trial sites, equipment and work areas safe and organisedWork with the Research team to meet seasonal priorities and deadlinesAbout YouYou are practical, dependable and comfortable working in a field‐based environment.
