About the opportunityThe Serviceperson is part of the Wilson Homes Service and Warranty team and reports to the State Service and Warranty Manager.
The key focus of this role is to complete and /or co-ordinate defect rectification work on our homes in line with our contractual requirements and quality standards.
More specifically,



you will:Conducting inspections of current homesCompiling a report on any identified defectsCommunicating with clients to propose actions according to Service and Warranty guidelinesAssisting with the monitoring of contractor progressFollowing up outstanding works from our trades and contractors as neededAttending to works as identified by the Handover SupervisorEnsuring that all general maintenance as per the defect list is completed to the highest qualityAbout youYou will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger.
In addition, you will:A trade background, preferably Carpentry or similar experienceAn ability to communicate with clients and various teams to provide information and updates on maintenance worksAn ability to prioritise effectively whilst ensuring exceptional attention to detailA full driver's licence to operate a service vanWillingness to travel to and from jobs as scheduledA positive attitude with the ability to work by yourself or within a teamWe are keen to improve female (and other marginalised groups) representation in our workplaces.
