Join our dynamic central region CT Team as a Full time CT Assistant, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and undertaking cannulations.
You'll be required to work at our Edwardstown clinic.
Some travel maybe required to our Christies Beach, Morphett Vale and Glenelg clinics.About the roleAs a CT Assistant, you will report to the CT Team Leader and collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care and efficient operations.
Your key responsibilities will include:Duties Include, but not limited to:Performing cannulations and providing patient care while adhering to Benson Radiology's Policies, Procedures, and ProtocolsAnalysingrequest forms and assist staff to ensure the appropriate examination is performed to obtain optimal informationConsulting with colleagues and Radiologists as neededSupporting CT Radiographers, nursing, and clinical staff by preparing patients for imaging examinations, including manual handling and positioningAssessing bookings and workflows proactively to maximise efficiency, while remaining flexible to accommodate urgent cases and walk-in patientsContributing to a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding, patient-centred careAbout YouYou thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being part of a welcoming, multi-disciplinary team.




You will possess:Proven ability in cannulation or relevant experience in venepunctureExperience managing scheduled appointments and ensuring seamless workflowStrong verbal communication skillsProblem-solving and decision-making capabilitiesFamiliarity with radiology imaging systems (e.g., COMRAD, PACS) is a plus, but not essentialValid CPR certification or a willingness to obtain itAbility to interact professionally with patients, team members and other stakeholdersYou must be Flexible, resilient, and adaptive to changeYou will require a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
