ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Our Client based on the Lower North Shore, Sydney, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner / IR Specialist to join their People & Culture team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with solid ER/IR experience who enjoys working closely with leaders, employees and unions.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
Initial 6-month opportunity.
This is a hands-on advisory role focused on complex employee and industrial relations matters, providing practical advice and support across Council.
You will work closely with managers and stakeholders, confidently navigate sensitive issues and liaise with unions where required.
Must be available full-time in the office.
DUTIES.
Manage complex ER/IR matters
Provide trusted HR advice
Liaise confidently with unions
Interpret Awards and legislation
Support workplace investigations and case management
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field
Local Government experience highly desirable
Knowledge of employment legislation
Excellent written and communication skills
REMUNERATIONs & BENEFITS.
$55-$65 p/h + Super
