Wagga Fire Security is looking for a Portable Fire Technician to join our growing team.If you've already got experience in the fire industry, great.
If you're mechanically minded, good with customers and keen to build a career in fire protection, we'd still like to hear from you.We're looking for the right person – someone reliable, switched on and happy to get out there and get the job done properly.The RoleAs a Portable Fire Technician, you'll be out on the road servicing our customers throughout Wagga Wagga and the surrounding region.Your day-to-day will include:Testing and servicing portable fire equipmentFire extinguishers, fire blankets, hose reels and related equipmentCompleting inspections and service documentationIdentifying defects and recommending required worksWorking across commercial, industrial and other customer sitesBuilding positive relationships with customersMaking sure work is completed safely, professionally and to the required standardsYou won't be stuck behind a desk all day.




It's a hands-on role with plenty of variety and independence.What We're Looking ForWe're after someone who:Is reliable and takes pride in their workIs comfortable working independently and managing their dayHas good communication and customer service skillsIs organised and can keep paperwork and service records up to dateHas a current Australian driver's licenceHas fire industry experience or relevant qualifications highly regardedIs willing to learn and develop their skillsMost importantly, we want someone with the right attitude.Why Wagga Fire Security?
