We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Workshop Support Operator (Truck Wash & Trade Assistant) to join our Fleet Maintenance team in Willawong.This hands-on role combines truck washing, vehicle movements and workshop support duties.
Working closely with our maintenance team, you'll help ensure our fleet is presented to the highest standard while assisting tradespeople with general workshop tasks and housekeeping activities.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working around heavy vehicles, takes pride in their work and wants to build a long-term career within the transport and logistics industry.Reporting to the State Service Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for:Participating in and committing to Linfox Safety Standards and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements at all timesOperating and maintaining the automatic truck wash facilityWashing and detailing trucks, trailers and fleet equipment to a high standardMoving vehicles around the workshop and yard as requiredAssisting mechanics and tradespeople with general Trade Assistant and workshop dutiesMaintaining truck wash schedules and fleet presentation requirementsKeeping the wash bay and workshop areas clean, secure and organisedUndertaking basic workshop and yard maintenance tasksWorking collaboratively with the wider Fleet Maintenance teamAre you the one?




We're looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused and enjoys working in a practical workshop environment.To be successful you will have:Previous truck wash, vehicle detailing, yard hand or Trade Assistant experience highly regardedHR, HC or MC licence highly desirableExperience working around heavy vehicles or transport equipmentBasic machinery or equipment operating experienceA strong commitment to workplace safetyThe ability to work independently and manage competing prioritiesA positive attitude and willingness to learnStrong attention to detail and pride in maintaining fleet presentationAvailability to work permanently on the afternoon shift rosterWhat's in it for me?
