Culinary Trainer | 9-Month Contract with Future Career Opportunities
We are seeking a passionate Culinary Trainer to join our Brisbane Academy on a 9-month maternity leave contract.
Based in Cannon Hill, this role offers the opportunity to combine hands-on cooking, mentoring and training while helping develop the next generation of Compass Group chefs.
4-day work week - every weekend is a long weekend

THE POSITION
Deliver practical culinary training and competency assessments
Coach, mentor and support chefs through their learning journey
Organise kitchens, stock and training resources for practical sessions
Maintain and update training materials and content as required
Support food safety, compliance and operational standards
Conduct site visits to support and upskill teams across Brisbane locations

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential)
Cert IV in Training & Assessment highly regarded
Strong commercial cookery background with excellent all-round culinary skills
Experience mentoring, coaching or training team members
Background in high-end hospitality, catering or premium food environments
Passion for food, attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation
