We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join our team at our Naval Base site.
Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining and running electrical systems in the plant, attending to any site breakdowns whilst working alongside members of our Production and Engineering Teams.
In this role you will:
Maintain, repair, and run electrical systems across the site
Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections
Respond promptly to breakdowns, demonstrating strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Participate actively in toolbox talks and pre-start risk assessments
Work both independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team
Uphold OHS standards and site safety procedures at all times
What You'll Bring
HV Switching desirable
Proven electrical maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment
Current CPR / LVR
High risk and hazardous work licence
Demonstrated experience with PLC control systems and variable speed drives (VSDs)
Experience with SAP or similar maintenance systems
Certificate III in Instrumentation (highly regarded)
Refrigeration or HVAC experience (highly regarded)
