We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive the next phase of growth within one of Australia's leading infrastructure maintenance and remediation businesses.
n
This isn't a role where you'll inherit a pipeline. You'll be trusted to build one.
n
Working closely with our operational and tender teams, you'll identify opportunities, develop client relationships and help secure projects across Queensland's infrastructure sector.
n
About the Role

You'll be responsible for:
n
n
Developing and executing a business development strategy across Queensland.
n
Building relationships with contractors, government agencies, asset owners, consultants and key stakeholders.
n
Identifying projects early and creating a strong opportunity pipeline.
n
Leading client engagement from initial conversations through to contract award.
n
Working alongside operational teams to develop winning solutions.
n
Supporting tender submissions and commercial negotiations.
n
Representing the business across industry events and networking opportunities.
n




Monitoring market activity and identifying emerging opportunities.
n

About You
n
We're looking for someone who already understands how the construction and infrastructure industry operates.
n
You may currently be working within:
n
n
Building Construction
n
Infrastructure Maintenance
n
Asset Maintenance
n
Remediation
n
Utilities
n
Mining
n
Defence
n
Energy
n
n
Most importantly, you'll be someone who knows how to build trust, develop long‐term relationships and win work.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
Proven success in a Business Development role within construction or infrastructure.
n
A strong network across the Queensland market.
n
Commercially minded with experience developing profitable opportunities.
n
Excellent communication and relationship‐building skills.
n
Experience working alongside operational and project delivery teams.
n
The ability to identify opportunities well before they reach the tender stage.
n
A proactive, self‐driven approach with a genuine passion for growing a business.
