What you'll do at our Strathpine clinic:
n
New Client Assessments
n
n
Prepare for assessments using referrals and questionnaires
n
Conduct standardised and informal assessments (e.g., WPPSI, WISC, WRAT, WRAML, ADOS, MIGDAS)
n
Provide timely feedback to clients and families and confirm therapy needs
n
Complete and issue reports within two weeks of assessment
n
n
Therapy Service Delivery
n
n
Deliver client-centred assessment, counselling, and therapy
n
Manage discipline-specific caseloads, including complex clients
n
Develop, implement, review, and adjust individualised therapy programs
n
Deliver services across clinic, home, school, and community settings
n
Collaborate with allied health professionals and develop specialised programs
n
Maintain privacy, confidentiality, and evidence-based practice
n
n
Therapy Programs
n
n
Conduct initial appointments and develop goal-based therapy plans
n
Create measurable, targeted interventions and session plans
n
Provide home and school-based activities and resources
n
Monitor progress, update goals, and complete reviews and reports
n
Identify and refer to other disciplines or group programs as appropriate
n
n
Reporting and Documentation
n
n
Complete clinical notes within 24 hours
n
Provide timely, compliant reports to stakeholders and funding bodies
n
Record incidents and complaints as required
n
n
Funding, Career development & Compliance
n
n
Align therapy plans with available funding (e.g. NDIS)
n
Participate in supervision, meetings, and ongoing professional development
n
Comply with registration standards, organisational policies, WHS, and child safety requirements
n
n
What you'll bring:

Experience/ Skills:
n
n
Demonstrated experience in solution-focused therapy and early intervention
n
Understanding and supporting the principles of individualised services including the ability to adapt services to meet individual needs
n
Demonstrated ability to engage with a range of children and families and external stakeholders
n
Strong communication and organisational skills
n
Exceptional observational and report writing skills
n
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and the ability to work autonomously in the community
n
n
Qualifications / Compliance:
n
n
Registration with AHPRA and Registration with Psychology Board of Australia
n
NDIS Workers Screening Check
n
Current Drivers' Licence and vehicle
n
Current Working with Children Check or Working with Vulnerable People Registration (state specific)
n
National Police Check
n
Accredited First Aid Certificate
n
n
