Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Metalwork Project Manager to join our Supplyhaus Facades team. In this role, you'll lead the successful delivery of high-quality aluminium metalwork packages across a diverse portfolio of commercial projects.
n
Typical scope includes balustrades (including stair balustrades), unitised perforated car park screens, batten screens, sunhoods, sunblades, louvres, custom storage lockers, trellis systems and bespoke cladding panels.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
provide expert technical advice during the design phase on buildability and value engineering, ensuring our metalwork solutions meet standards, budgets, and commercial outcomes are achieved.
n
Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, including design coordination, procurement, fabrication, logistics and installation.
n
Ensure designs are compliant, coordinated and aligned with contractual requirements.
n
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
n
Lead, mentor and support project teams to foster a collaborative, high-performing culture.
n
Coordinate drafting teams, structural engineers and fabrication partners to deliver efficient installation and construction sequencing.
n
Manage project budgets, programmes, resources, forecasting, progress claims and financial reporting.
n
Monitor project risks, proactively identifying commercial, technical and programme issues while implementing practical solutions.
n
Conduct regular site inspections and quality reviews to ensure installations are delivered safely, efficiently and with minimal defects.
n
Travel regularly to project sites across South East Queensland, with occasional interstate or overseas travel as required.

About You
n
You are an experienced Project Manager with a robust background in the metalwork or commercial construction industry. You thrive on building relationships, solving complex challenges and delivering exceptional outcomes for your customers. With strong commercial acumen and a collaborative leadership style, you enjoy mentoring others and successfully delivering projects from concept through to completion.
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
n
Previous experience as a Project Manager or similar role within the metalwork, architectural steel industry.
n
Demonstrated experience managing the full project lifecycle, including design input, procurement, fabrication, logistics and site installation.
n
Proven ability to successfully deliver multiple concurrent projects while maintaining programme, budget, quality and safety outcomes.
n
Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project margins, variations, claims, forecasting and cash flow.
n
A customer-focused approach with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships from project commencement through to completion.
n
Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers, offshore drafting and fabrication teams, and internal stakeholders.
n
Strong understanding of construction systems, contractor management, value engineering and buildability principles.
n
Proven ability to identify programme, commercial and technical risks early and implement practical solutions.
n
Sound knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC), relevant legislation and Australian Standards.
n
Solid technical capability, including site measuring,
interpreting drawings and sketching bespoke fabrication solutions.
n
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, reporting and problem-solving skills.
n
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills. Experience using Jobpac will be highly regarded.
n
A current passport and driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly to project sites across South East Queensland, with occasional overseas travel if required.
n
A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline, or a trade qualification within the commercial construction industry.
