Our client is a leading global professional services provider and are seeking a senior employment lawyer to join a dynamic national in-house team.

The role
n
Your role will include:
n
n
leading and advising on complex conduct and workplace investigations;
n
driving initiatives to improve the firm's approach to people matters;
n
leading the firm's approach to employee disputes, including managing external counsel;
n
building strong and trusted relationships with internal clients and governance bodies; and
n
collaborating with, and supporting other corporate functions.
n
n
Requirements
n
The successful candidate will be an Australian qualified lawyer with 8 + years plus employment law experience, ideally with a mix of private practice and in-house. You will have:
n
n
confidence in advising senior management with transparent and concise advice;
n
a proven ability to identify and consider critical issues and articulate legal and reputational risks to support decisions;
n
strong interpersonal and commercial skills, as well as an ability to form strong relationships;
n
experience with modern awards, whistle blower matters and regulator engagement; and
n
experience working within a formal governance framework.
