About the prospect
n
Alice Springs Airport is seeking an experienced Airport Compliance Coordinator to support the safe, secure and compliant operation of the airport.
n
Reporting to the Head of Airports Regional and leading a small team, you will be responsible for coordinating compliance across airside operations, aviation security, safety, environmental management and regulatory requirements. This hands‐on role plays a critical part in ensuring the airport meets the standards of agencies including CASA and the Cyber and Infrastructure Security Centre.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Supervise daily terminal and airside operations.
n
Coordinate runway, taxiway and apron inspections, wildlife hazard management and airside driving compliance.
n
Monitor and maintain compliance with aviation safety, security and environmental regulations.
n
Support emergency response activities in accordance with airport emergency and security plans.
n
Maintain operational manuals, procedures, reports and compliance records.
n
Coordinate security audits, contractor compliance and performance reporting.
n
Assist with the ongoing development of the airport's Safety Management System.
n
Build strong relationships with airlines, contractors, regulators and other stakeholders.
n
Provide leadership, guidance and support to operational staff.
n

About You
n
You will bring:
n
n
Experience in airport operations, compliance, aviation security or a similar regulated environment.
n
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and operational risk management.
n
Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
The ability to lead teams and manage competing priorities in a dynamic operational environment.
n
A current NT Driver's Licence (or ability to obtain),



and eligibility to obtain an ASIC and Airside Driving Authority.
n

Desirable:
n
n
Knowledge of CASA and aviation security regulatory requirements.
n
Understanding of airport and airline operations.
n
Experience with audits, compliance reporting and security management systems.
n
n
Additional Requirements:
n
n
This position is classified as a Safety Sensitive Aviation Activity (SSAA) and requires participation in an on‐call roster and attendance at operational emergencies when required.
