The Opportunity
n
Our widely acknowledged, first‐class Global Loans team is a core practice area of the firm, originating significant deal mandates in its own right and managing many of the firm's most significant client relationships.
n
We specialise in "high end" larger cap and complex corporate finance transactions and are a Band 1 team ranked by Chambers. We regularly advise on the full range of debt financing structures in sponsor‐event‐driven financings, including A$ unitranche financing, Aust TLB, US TLB sourced financings of Australian targets, conventional Australian leveraged loan, Holdco mezz and ARR financings to SaaS / tech businesses.

Qualifications
n
n
2–5 years' loan markets legal experience gained within a top‐tier law firm, respected mid‐tier firm or in‐house with a focus on leveraged finance or an interest in working in corporate and leveraged finance following experience in general corporate finance.
n
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and superior analytical and drafting skills.
n
A commercial approach and an ability to articulate and negotiate effectively.
n
Strong attention to detail with well‐developed analytical skills.
n
The ability to be team‐focused and provide leadership and mentoring to the juniors in the team whilst also working independently.
n
A proactive, positive and energetic approach with a commitment to providing excellent service, and a desire to interact with the market and build client relationships.
n
