At Yellow Canary, we automate payroll compliance and employee entitlement verification, helping some of Australia's largest employers ensure accurate pay for their workers. Our platform ingests payroll, timesheet, and rostering data to detect variances within Awards and Enterprise Agreements.

About the Role
n
As a Data Engineer, you'll design, build and optimise Python data pipelines for ingestion, and identify trends and innovations in data platforms to inform the future development of our solutions. You'll have the opportunity to grow your responsibilities and build your skillset with the support of our experienced Data Team, and contribute to the development of new tools, products and services.

What you bring:
n
You'll be a fantastic addition to Yellow Canary if you have:
n
n
3+ years professional experience building production data pipelines with Python and Pandas
n
Demonstrated track record designing and implementing ETL or ELT workflows for complex large-scale data pipelines
n
Comfort with Git, unit testing and modern CI/CD (we use GitHub Actions)
n
Clear communication, attention to detail, and a hands-on mindset
n
